Talk about your rare decals! This one-of-a-kind VEGAS VIC decal dates back to the 1950s and was produced by GOLD ARROW PRODUCTS, the West Coast subsidiary of the famous GOLDFARB NOVELTY CO.
The real Vegas Vic was a 40 foot neon cowboy that greeted visitors from atop the old Pioneer Club (gone now) with a booming "Howdy Podner!"
He was very popular in the 1950s, and is the true essence of old LAS VEGAS. This terrific NEVADA souvenir decal perfectly captures all the style and charm of this rangy cowboy!
The detailing on this decal is just incredible - right down to the "Howdy Podner" written in rope! The colors are nice and bright and the decal is in excellent condition with minor creasing and curling of the sides due to storage. It measures just 3" but is a remarkable piece of old vintage memorabilia despite its size!
Due to its age and rarity, we suggest this decal not be water dipped, but kept "as is" as the centerpiece of a collection.
