Pair of Antique Silver Putti Master Salts Glass Liners Made in Germany

Description

This listing is for a very fine set of 800 silver (80% silver content where sterling is 92.5%) master salts with Putti stems.  The craftsmanship on these two pieces is very good with nice details.  They are 5 1/2" tall and 3 3/8" in diameter at the widest.    They are made of heavy gauge silver and the total weight is 9.92 troy ounces.   There are no monograms.  The hallmarks are for Germany after 1886 (crown & crescent moon), and the makers mark is a capital B inside of a square or rectangle.  I was unable to attribute the mark to a specific silversmith.  There is also a French import hallmark on each piece.
Very good condition for age.
The glass inserts are intact with no chips or scratches and there are no issues noted on the silver holders besides tarnish and some light surface scratches.   They could use a good polishing.   Please see all pictures for details.
