c1930 Classic Vintage 18k Gold & VVS Diamond Filigree Ring sz 5 1/2

Description

Presented is a beautiful 18 karat gold and diamond filigree ring. This is a
vintage American piece, dating to around the 1920s-1930s. The ring is set with a
dazzling transitional cut diamond of about 45-50 points in size, in a charming
square bead setting. This diamond is a great quality stone of VVS clarity and H
color. The diamond is set in white gold or platinum, so the stone really pops.
The shoulders of the ring are also decorated with white gold or platinum,
contrasting beautifully with the rich yellow gold of the rest of the band. The
ring is done in lovely filigree openwork.
The ring is in great condition. The diamond is securely set. The filigree
work is nice and crisp. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The band is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid
and guarantee it to be 18 karat gold.
The ring is a size 5 1/2 but can be resized for you by a jeweler.
The ring weighs 3.1 grams.
