  • Condition: Overall the condition of this Antique Continental Oval Footed Bowl is Excellent. Under magnification we see that along the outside edge there is an extremely tiny (less than 1/32") where, under one of the Scrolls along the Rim, in the making of this Bowl, it was burnished too much and came through under the top of the Rim.     Description

    This Antique Sterling Silver Bowl has a Scalloped Oval Shape with a Highly Embossed
    Baroque
    Decorated panel Sides.   Measuring 5-3/4” in long, 3" wide and 2-1/2" high measuring to the top of the Cherubs Heads.
    This Very Ornate Silver Dish is made from 800 Silver and Art Nouveau Scrolls, Flowers, Ribbons and Flowers Decorate the sides of this Wonderful raised relief Bowl.  This Lovely Estate Dish sits flat on a table top on 4 Scrolled Feet.
    On the bottom there are 3 impressed hallmarks that we cannot read or interpret but we've gotten close in our Photos so that you might be able to decipher them.   This vintage dish weighs approximately 3.735 Oz. Troy or 116.2 Grams.
