ANTIQUE 800 SILVER & ENAMEL DECORATIVE TEASPOON MADE IN AUSTRIA-HUNGARY

Description

A gorgeous antique 800 silver and enamel teaspoon made in Vienna during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Features panels of blue, red, and yellow translucent enamel in between swirling filigree. Handle has delicate twist detail with alternating blue enamel and silver panels. Measures approx. 4"l, total weight approx. 0.3oz/9g. Overall, the spoon is in fair antique condition, exhibiting just general wear consistent with its age, tarnish, and some chips and small cracks to one panel of blue enamel in the bowl - see pictures. Back of handle is stamped with the Austro-Hungarian 800 silver dog head mark (with a 3 and A), the number 800, and what appear to be the letters G and S. Would make a lovely addition to any spoon collection!
