800 Silver Heart Shaped cast Rococo with Roses. German

Description

For sale is one 800 Silver German Rococo Style Heavy Heart Shaped Box with Roses motif.
Box is used but in very good condition but does show wear commensurate with age.
The Box does show a big spacing between the lid and the box between the lobes when the box is closed.  This appears to be exactly as it was when it was made.  The crack in the lid in the photos of the top at the left hing to lobe does not go through to the interior.  That appears to either be a crack from hammering during manufacture or its is a join.  Box has no monograms.  Box opens and closed perfectly and tight.  Box is clearly marked on the bottom with the Crown Crescent and 800.  This is an old handmade box as made by the silversmith.
Box measures ~2 1/4" across
the lobes and
2 1/8" top to lobe to bottom of point and weighs ~ 40 grams.

I am shipping within the United States only at this time.
I will not ship a package without a tracking number.  Packages MUST be accounted for with a tracking number so that any tampering with is covered under federal postal statutes and penalties. Packages may require full insurance.  Any major shipping alterations I will discuss prior to shipping.  If I feel that shipping may require a higher level of attention otherwise not indicated clearly in the description, I will discuss this with the buyer prior to shipping so that a proper form of care can be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
