DESCRIPTION:
In designing the new Turbo Impulse, there was some disagreement over which was the better approach. Half of our engineers, inspired perhaps by the sleek Giugiato body, wanted to create a refined, four-place Grand Touring coupe.
The other half just wanted to blow some doors off.
In the end, both sides won.
The Turbo Impulse is equipped with the thoughtful touches that are the hallmark of legitimate touring coupes: Cruise control. Climate control. An audiophiles four-speaker stereo with equalizer.
And comfortable seating for four adults, including a 7-way articulated driver’s seat.
Yet this civilized automobile is also armed with a 2-liter, aluminum-head engine that’s fuel-injected, turbocharged, inteicooled. And potent.
Quick enough to leave a Supra, 200SX Turbo, or BMW 325e in your rearview mirror.
