DESCRIPTION OF ITEM
i show any problems that i noticed
Early ex library item, it is an extract from the Baltimore Sun, 4th November, 1841 and about Christopher Hughes esq. who was diplomat who served as Charge d'affaires in Sweden and the Netherlands in the 1820's and 30's. he was the captain of artillery at Fort McHenry during the war of 1812. This is a two page paper from the 1840's with info about the man on the front and an extract of Mr John Quincy Adams speech to Congress in sept. 1841 on the back and it also talks about Hughes. folded, torn, as you see it.
